Wayne LaPierre's Speech at CPAC

NRA Executive Vice President Wayne LaPierre will be speaking today at the Conservative Political Action Conference at 2:30 2:15 p.m. Eastern time [UPDATE Note: NRA is updating the time in case the speech starts early so people don't miss the beginning].  This site has agreed to be a host site for the speech.

After the live presentation, I am told this will be able to replay the speech.

A more complete description of this event is posted in today's Gun Rights Examiner column.

As backup, in case this video player fizzles at the appointed hour, you'll be able to see the live speech at  NRA.org (www.nra.org) / NRA News (www.nranews.com).

Nice sadistic maniacs they employ.

Oak Tree Won't Go Away

Two relevant updates from Michael S. Rosenwald at The Washington Post:
Trust me when I say this is not my final word.

I have some very interesting documentation from one source with some relevant connections, and had an extended telephone conversation last night with another person who has some firsthand insights. I will be revisiting this again, pointing at some dots, and doing what I can from my end to connect them.

Moms Demand You Die

Well, that's what the stupid mother******* gungrabbers are doing. [More]

The Shap of Things to Come

The Vermont Speaker of the House talks about the betrayal in Burlington, and sounds like he's wholly amenable to the idea at some later date when "progressive" strength can assure victory at the state level. He comes on at about the 16:30 mark. [Listen

In the mean time, he does his best to divide and conquer by assuring the Useful Fudds they'll be eaten last.

I'm told this weasel-wording weed has higher political ambitions.

Gomer?

No Need for Alarm

Seven Questions

Look for "Old Bloody Hands" to block all of them. [More]

Whyte Supremacism Affirmed in California

I wonder what he's prepared to do if enough reject his claim?  [More]

Just because he thinks it's a safe decision in his immediate area doesn't mean those affected in outlying territories will be so compliant.

I see a candidate for Toys for Totalitarians.

Another Step Forward...

...in California. [More]

Good work.

Expect Kamala the Red to respond like she did in Peruta.

NRA Wins Facebook War!

Breitbart says it. [More]

So does The Washington Times.

You see anything here before the Facebook decision (which doesn't even mention them)?

Anybody see anything predating the decision and mobilizing the troops on their Facebook page?

Here's what a grassroots activist has to say:
Unless the NRA was making backdoor negotiations with Facebook, then the NRA had absolutely nothing at all to do with this. Grassroots groups, mine included, have been fighting our asses of for over a month regarding this, contacting Facebook, gathering signatures for a petition, countering moms demand's lies and rhetoric, and the win belongs to the 2a community as a whole, because we the people did this. Not the money of the NRA.
Where have we seen this before?

Oh yeah, here, and here and here and...

Say, anybody see an official statement on this yet...?

InfoMike

InfoWars has picked up on Mike's Connecticut adventures. [More]

I know he's not exactly an Alex Jones fan, so I'm wondering what his reaction will be.  No question, they have a huge ability to raise awareness.

The Choice is Clear

One guy wants to kill you. The other wants to rape you first. [More]

Hey, if you don't vote, you can't complain!

We're the Only Ones Extra-Legal Enough

"Nobody said you did anything illegal," responded an officer. [More]
Then why did you force yourself on him?

It's not exactly like Lorain "Only Ones" have established themselves as the ... uh ... only ones who can be trusted with guns.

And my goodness, those "Authorized Journalists" look breathlessly indignant and concerned.  All that emphasis on "assault rifle," like they'd have been cool with a Fudd gun.

Take the Hint

Too sick to post this morning. [More]

Give the guy a break and hold off on emails and comments. Such things accumulate, and it  takes a lot to process, respond and act.

If you want to help, do this.

This Day in History: March 6

Burlington voters opt to give up gun rights, gut state preemption

Gun owners nationwide should not dismiss this as a purely local matter -- the tactics involved, using a "home rule" facade to establish a patchwork quilt of impossible to comply with restrictions, is one that gun-banners attempt wherever they can. [More]
Today's Gun Rights Examiner report notes a symbolic loss for freedom.  It symbolizes collectivist willingness to play the long game and take their incremental gains where they can. It symbolizes the first steps on the road to totalitarianism.

Knowing the Score

But we are not going to allow the confirmation of this anti-gun crazy without a fight. And Gun Owners of America will score a vote in favor of Murthy as an anti-gun vote. [More
That beats NOT knowing the score.

Wouldn't you agree, NRA?

Why no confirmation after five days to anyone but Emily?

Looks like it's time for another one of these.

AFTER I do what GOA asks and contact my senators.

There.

THAT was easy.

UPDATE: And so was this:
