For the Children

Guns murder them!  Get rid of guns from the home! [More]

What?  SLATE is not telling us the whole story?

Can I believe in no one anymore?

I'm sorry, but Evan and Devin sound like they just need a Kevin to be some cartoon duck's nephews.

Proof of Guilt

The first thing visitors to the neighborhood near Martin Winter's home may notice is a huge, white flagpole, with large platform. The 10 commandments are inscribed beneath, and "In God We Trust" is in bold letters. [More]
Hell, that's all I need to see.

Hang him!

[Via Florida Guy]

Umm...No

According to a statement the institute released recently, Senate Bill 53 would allow Eric Holder’s Justice Department to collect and retain significant information regarding all legal purchases of ammunition. [More]
Sorry, but if you follow that first link, ILA pretty clearly says:
SB 53 would require the purchasers of ammunition to register with the state Department of Justice...
HA! Look whose name they crossed out!

What's in a Name?

First they came for the Redskins, and I did not speak out because I was not a Redskin. [More]

And hey, anybody offended by the terms "colored people" and "negro"?  But those are Prozi groups, so they're exempt.

How far are they from refusing to trademark names of groups that have the word "gun" or "rifle" because of how negatively the hissing MILMs say those words make them "feel"?

The story doesn't say, and trying to find the individuals responsible for the 2 - 1 decision is something I just don't have time to track down -- and I spent a few minutes trying.  I'd like to know who to hold personally accountable.

An appropriate response would be for Congress to apply some selective defunding, but I doubt anyone has the guts to even broach the subject, knowing how they'd then be tarred with the new scarlet letter, "R."

Too bad, because it's pretty evident where those who seek to control everything would like to take this.

We're the Only Ones Skipping Enough

He is a very hard worker and a good officer. [More]
He must be.  Think how he must have distinguished himself and leapt over all those hurdles to achieve the coveted "last-chance agreement."

We're the Only Ones Fiending Enough

He looked sweaty. He looked almost like he was fiending at that point and time. [More]
So...what was it then that made him stand out?

Isolation and Stigma of Violence

And who is responsible for all the negativity directed toward them when they dare wander off the "progressive" plantation and assume a role the overseers don't approve of? [More]

Out in the Open

They're getting desperate when they practically admit subterfuge no longer works. [More]

This Day in History: June 18

The policy however wch. seems to direct Carlton’s measures renders it probable that he will decline the mean expedient pursued on such occasions by his predecessors for giving pain to individuals. It will be proper for us to take from this accident an admonition to extend the use of our Cypher. [More]

As Long as They Want to Play this Game...

CNN dutifully parrots Hillary on guns. [More]

Speaking of terrorizing people:
She never did answer the last time I asked her.

Join the fun?

UPDATE:  Workman weighs in.

But It's From the "Tea Party"...

Yeah, sure it is. [More]

I'm sure I've talked before about groups that raise money from well-meaning donors that benefits opportunistic fundraisers and takes away from where some good could actually be done, but I'm fighting a deadline and don't have time to go looking for old posts right now. Anyway, lotta folks basking in the light of Brat's star -- not that they did anything to help its ascension -- and now they're finding other names to pretend they're integral team players for.

It's a Mystery to Me

In a post from July 2012 about an ongoing problem with double vision, which apparently developed after he was hit in the head some weeks earlier, Jernigan complained that the medication he was taking may cause mood changes, sadness and suicidal thoughts. [More]
What, oh what could have set him off? If only there were some clue...

UPDATE: I understand some of the youngsters don't grok the relevance of the graphic to the theme of this post.

We're the Only Ones Checking Up on You Enough

A bill pending in the Ohio House of Representatives would make it legal for drivers to warn others of upcoming checkpoints by flashing their headlights. [More]
Why would I need a bill to exercise my right to free speech? And they ticketed a guy with a sign half a mile from the checkpoint?

James Manzo did the ticketing, eh?

This James Manzo?

Why is he still on the force? Hell, why is he out of a cage?  And why shouldn't anyone approached by him automatically assume a deadly threat?

Gosh, sensitive, aren't they?

We're All Adam Hellers Now

"Dr. Lerman was unable to conclude whether Mr. Heller presents a risk to others because Mr. Heller failed to cooperate with the evaluation and thus it must be assumed that Mr. Heller presents such a risk," the charges said. [More]
Ah, guilty until proven innocent!  Think of all the time that will save. How very "progressive."

And as far as believing strongly in "wild" conspiracies, guilty as charged.  It beats believing in Underpants Gnomes. Plus, I have better sources than the sick monopoly of violence cultists making such kooky fantasy charges.

I'm still shaking my head over the "Only Ones" taking the word of a self-identified medium that someone else has reality issues.

I don't know if this Heller character is as dangerous as a maniac or not.  That's the point, until we do, what must the state presume he is? After that, of course, anyone who can't be trusted with a gun can't be trusted without a custodian. Until they can be.

Sometimes Stuff Just Happens

Try using that excuse when IRS demands documents from you. [More]

We are ruled by criminals. That's why their behavior to those they shake down is increasingly thuggish and geared toward intimidation.

And voting for the rival gang is hardly going to help.

Mike's Flag Day Speech

Lying Liars

So what would the motive be of someone who lies in order to disarm you? [More]

What, No NICS OK?

Mr. Butts, who had been struck by a shot from Phillip’s gun, rushed to a hardware store and obtained a pistol. [More]
The good old days...

A Messaging Problem

You know, the message is a lie and the messengers are all liars... [More]
