There's an App for That

And the technological
achievement award goes to...
We would like to introduce the best way to keep up with both the Oath Keepers sites on your mobile devices. We have made the sites compatible with the App Tapatalk which you can get for the IOS and Android operating systems. [More]
I just did, but I think I did something wrong-- I never did see an option to create an account and appear to get everything tagged as "Oath Keepers,"  including anti sites, plus my clumsy fingers accidentally (OK, negligently) hit an adjacent icon and added a completely different forum that I don't know how to get rid of.

I guess I'll learn. Years of clamshelling exclusively in call mode have left me unprepared for these gol-darned newfangled gizmos. I'd never even sent a text until two weeks ago, and thank goodness I learned how to use the microphone instead. I have far to go before I'll be ready for much else beyond repeatedly swiping my finger to no avail while swearing and trying to answer a damned call without dropping the phone.

"Here's How I Arrived at that Figure"

It doesn't matter. All you are is a noisemaker tasked to spread a meme with the goal of influencing votes. None of it addresses what you -- or those you're egging on -- are prepared to do with the standard response of "No. Your move." [More

Gosh. If we can't trust Christopher Ingraham of The Washington Post, who CAN we trust?

“I Want to Kill You. Die Dirty Faggy”

People really talk like that? That's really gay. [More]

He sounds like Mr. Garrison.

Naturally, this is where the boss stands on natural rights.

We're the Only Ones First-Responding Enough

When Whitehill resident Andrea accidentally cut her arm on glass, her sister frantically called 911, "I need a paramedic." Columbus Police Officer Jon Thomas responded to the house where he pulled out his gun and shot toward the family's dog (which he claims ran toward him), missed, and hit Andrea's four-year-old daughter Ava in the leg, shattering her bone. [More]
The important  thing is, he made it home at the end of his shift.

Not the Only One

Sheriff Brad Rogers, the top-ranking law enforcement official for Elkhart County, Indiana, said during a panel appearance on WNIT’s “Politically Speaking” segment that he wouldn’t abide government orders to register weapons from private citizens within his jurisdiction, no matter what President Obama presses. We're the Only Ones in a Tankless Job Enough

A White House ban on military-style equipment is forcing 11 Florida law-enforcement agencies — including sheriff's offices in Seminole, Osceola, Volusia and Polk — to return all tanks they received years ago after the items were declared surplus equipment by the federal government. [More]

Interesting Observation

Especially since, unless picked up and used, guns don't harm anyone. [More]

That said, I concede being inconsistent on the Ted Kennedy bumper sticker because it makes a greater point, it's funny, and it offends Prozis.

Enemy of the State

Gosh, I wonder who they could have in mind...? [More]

Scary Stuff, Indeed

“We’re all threats to them,” said Mike Vanderboegh, former leader of the 1st Alabama Cavalry Regiment Constitutional Militia and a longtime figure in the Patriot movement. “I’ve fought white supremacists and neo-Nazis all my life. But they lump veterans and constitutionalists in with all the others.
“This is very scary stuff. To say that militias, for example, are a worse threat than ISIS? All the militia says is they’re Second Amendment activists and they won’t be rolled back any further from their Second Amendment rights.” [More]
I think I figured out what the problem is.

We don't have any oil.

Not that what sustains the enemy and allows him to spread is viewed as a military target by our own Caliphate. That's reserved for the Obama equivalent of wrong-house raids (and use that 90% figure the next time some smart@$$ hive insect thinks he's being clever parroting that the Second Amendment is obsolete because the government has drones).

Besides, if the threat were diminished, how else could the sheep be terrorized into surrendering more freedom for the illusion of security?

What a racket.

Say, how long do you think before these replace Che T-shirts on college campuses?

Gabby’s ‘Protect All Women Tour’ Appears to Be Following Bloomberg’s M.O.

Funny thing about that, though. If the Gun-Grabby Gabby Groupies have posted a detailed itinerary, a schedule saying where exactly they’re going to be and at what time, they sure have made it confusing to locate on their website. And I’m not finding it on their Twitter or Facebook pages, either. [More]
For people who would "allow" our rights on a "need to have" basis, it's not surprising they treat information about their public activities as "need to know."

Four More

Honest, there were plenty of other people at the AZCDL meeting, but the photos I keep getting all have me in them. In this case, I was talking with attorney Nick Dranias about something I hope to be writing about very soon, when we noticed Alan Korwin taking candid photos.

So yes, of course they demand emasculation via forced disarmament. Just don't expect them to send too many womyn warriors.

About that 'Conversation on Guns'...

Here is a sample of their demands:
“Central registration of all firearm owners and their weapons.”
“A 28-day waiting period on all firearm purchases.”
“Require that weapons be stored unloaded, in a gun safe, with a trigger lock.”
“Ban any clip or magazine capable of holding more than 10 rounds.” [More]
My response, in the order presented:

No. Your move.

No. Your move.

No. Your move.

No. Your move.

Hurry Up and Wait

Gun rights and gun control advocates alike will have to wait a little longer to find out if the U.S. Supreme Court will hear a challenge to a Highland Park firearms ban. The high court is now expected to decide at the earliest on Monday if it will take the case, which involves a gun owner who sued the North Shore community over its ban on semi-automatic "assault weapons" that carry more than 10 rounds. [More]
My prediction from a couple days ago in response to being asked:
[M]y *opinion* is they will not hear it and will not say why ... If they do hear it, I don't see how an honest reading of 2A and subsequent decisions could rule against the right to own them, meaning if they go the other way, it's game on against those of us who will not comply.
I'll have more to say after the decision -- or lack thereof  -- but nothing I haven't been saying for years.

Even More of Fraud than Before

I'd guess everything from interstate commerce to RICO could be thrown at the crooks who took people's money anyway, if someone wanted to make a federal case out of this.

If.
