A Bloomberg-Approved Veto

Today, May 10, Governor Ducey vetoed HB 2524, the AzCDL-requested interstate firearms compact bill.  HB 2524 would have prohibited Arizona and other member states from enacting firearm transfer requirements that are more restrictive that existing federal law. [More]
Thanks for making things easier for Bloomberg, governor. That jewel sure will look nice in his crown.

After all, everyone knows the best way to stall an invasion is to remove defensive barriers.

So much for thinking outside the box.

Apologists don't want us doing that anyway.

Old Dog, New Trick?

MeWe is the world's safest social network, where your personal information is private. There is no spying, tracking, or stalking in our site. Easily share what you want with the people you want, and enjoy our many great features. [More]
Being a small fish in a big pond means you need to splash to get noticed. When you're linkwhoring, you only have so many options if you don't look good in a tube top.

I have no idea if this will be useful at getting links shared and articles read, but giving this a try probably won't  hurt (much), and these people seem to be more privacy-oriented than Facebook (not that any "social media" should actually be used for social purposes). Whether this will be a tool that will help me spread the word, as opposed to a distraction and a time-waster, remains to be seen.

Cringeworthy name, though. And I don't see a way to vet "join" invitations to see if the person may be a spammer or a troll.

Dang -- they really Rodney Kinged the guy.

It is "progressive"-ruled California, after all.

'Sometimes Losing is Winning'

WSJ editor tells conservatives to abandon Trump [More]
And WSJ, of course, is notoriously in the tank for the cheap labor side of the immigration/invasion cultural terraforming.

As for Paul Ryan, the Bushes, and the rest of the establishment GOP either holding out or sitting out, their motive is transparent: If they can make sure Trump loses, they get to crow "See, we told you so!" Never mind that Dole, McCain, Romney et al proved their impotence. Those with short memories and weak resolve will get back into line and those clamoring for real change will be easier to discredit as spoilers.

This isn't about Trump. This is about the ideas he represents that resonate with so many.  That's what threatens them, and that's what they intend to redirect, sabotage and destroy.

Painting Themselves into a Corner

Lynch: States Can't 'Insist' a Man is a Man and a Woman is a Woman, If Person Feels Otherwise [More]
This presents a very real contradiction that stands to work against biological women, supposedly the ones feminists demanded special protection for from the suffragette movement through to the very recent present.

One of the wealth redistribution tactics government uses in contracting is foregoing equal protection and giving special preferences to small, disadvantaged, minority and woman-owned businesses. If Lynch's legal opinion is followed, currently certified women business owners  are going to have to let their newly self-identified sisters into the competitive pool.

I wonder if any of them might mind.

Uh-oh. I feel another identity crisis coming on.

Are Enough Oath Takers Oath Keepers?

That goes to the crux of what Oath Keepers is about, noting the oath is to the Constitution and the applicability of the Uniform Code of Military Justice as binding law prohibiting a Nuremberg-style “I was only following orders” defense. That’s the legal basis for “Orders we will not obey.” And that, of course, is used by subversive “progressives” to label Oath Keepers “anti-government extremists” (and worse). [More]
I'm looking for experience-based assessments of how many guys would stand down in spite of commands. Would they be enough to make a significant difference?

We're the Only Ones Flooding the Streets Enough

An NBC Bay Area investigation into the loss and theft of police firearms uncovered more than 500 weapons have gone missing from eight different law enforcement agencies since 2010. [More]
And naturally, they're being uncooperative.

Let the outrageousness of who and where these people are, and what exemptions and power they have, sink in for as moment. This is at a minimum, criminal negligence, and, noting utter piece of filth Leland Yee, quite possibly more.

Remember this when you see Gavin Newsom or Kevin de León or Mike Feuer or some other goddamn totalitarian demand new ways to persecute those who want to claim their rights. This is the inevitable result of Opposite Day "progressive" disarmament edicts they call "common sense gun safety laws" for the manipulation of the cud-chewers. It's also the inevitable result of the subversive cultural terraforming that enables such corruption to rise to power.

Questionable Gun Store Bank Transactions Merit Congressional Inquiry of ATF

In a way, this is déjà vu all over again, as this is how the Fast and Furious investigation began, with Mike Vanderboegh and I pressuring both bodies to open an inquiry into seemingly outrageous claims, and urging other media outlets to investigate so that they could be independently corroborated.  As with Fast and Furious, claims presented here have been vetted with proven trusted advisors knowledgeable of the situation — and of ATF inner workings — and they agree there is much to be explained. [More]
More questionable ATF activity that's been met with FBI indifference. Surprise, surprise. I've included links to ask Grassley and Chaffetz to look into this. If you'd like to help, it'll take you all of one minute after reading.
