Republic***s

Just last year, two of the three – Capito and Murkowski – voted to approve the exact same bill. All three campaigned and won elections to their seats after saying they would repeal the legislation. [More]
Well, we found the phonies.

Not that anyone should be surprised.

Fake Complaint

The professors argued that the law could “chill” discussion of controversial topics in class because faculty members and students might fear that someone with a weapon would shoot a student or professor who disagreed with him. Such fear would cause faculty members to avoid discussing potentially dangerous topics. [More]
Pretty transparent way to play the victim and presume the moral high ground. If "progressives" are really that scared of us, how come so many are screaming in our faces and calling us names every chance they get?

It would help if those who do not believe in asking for permission from those with no moral authority to give it had assurances that they will not be forgotten if they lend their support to this effort.

As with LEOSA.

So I'll go ahead and sign this just because I understand the back-and-forth is incremental and because it will enrage the right people -- as long as everybody understands that nothing less than full recognition of informed choice for all not requiring custodial care is my "end game."

We only mention race when we can exploit it. And we obviously need more citizen disarmament edicts because the bar for "Only Ones" is set so low. [More]

Changing Demographics Add Further Evidence of Greatest Threat to Gun Owner Rights

That’s a drum far too few gun owner rights advocates have been beating or even acknowledging.  More likely, especially with the major “gun lobby” groups, the response has been to ignore it, with an occasional deflection falling back on the “single issue” excuse. Yet the cultural terraforming, by all objective measures, represents the greatest growing threat gun owners will face. [More]

The Fosters

The Second Amendment Foundation today filed a federal lawsuit against the head of the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) on behalf of four Michigan residents, alleging civil rights violations under color of law for enforcing restrictions on the Second Amendment rights of people who want to be foster or adoptive parents. [More]

Speaking of Audits...

Audit the Pentagon...  [More]
Sure, OK, good idea. And while you're at it, audit the Fed.

But there's one more audit you and your cheap labor pals and your political allies have been avoiding, Grover, one that is within your means to perform and one that involves higher ultimate costs.

Audit all credible polls against real world experience in places like California, and then produce credible data – not opinion, not anecdotes, not isolated examples, but something that can be independently validated – demonstrating that “amnesty” and a “pathway to citizenship” for MILLIONS of foreign nationals in this country illegally (and legally, with CURRENT culturally suicidal policies) WILL NOT overwhelmingly favor Democrats and anti-gunners. Show us your sources and methodologies for determining this WILL NOT result in supermajorities in state and federal legislatures that will then be able to pass all kinds of anti-gun edicts.

Show us how this WILL NOT result in nominations and confirmations of judges to the Supreme and federal courts who will uphold those edicts and reverse gains made to date.

If you can't, put on your NRA director hat and explain why a politician's position on an issue that has the potential to eviscerate "legal" recognition of the Second Amendment should not be refelected in grades and endorsements.

Something beyond the fraudulent "single issue" deflection, please...

Gridlock

"I think that California's gun-control laws have finally become so complicated that we're now in probably a two- to three-year period of the state trying to figure out how to clean up the mess it made and make the laws enforceable," he said. "These delays are really just a symptom of how insanely overbroad and complicated the system has become." [More]
And when people don't know what the "law" is, that has a wide deterring effect all by its own self.

Made possible by what the "gun lobby" groups deliberately ignore for reasons they refuse to address beyond an indefensibly lame "single issue" excuse...

Maduro’s Arrogance Enabled by Venezuelan Citizen Disarmament Edicts

And to back that up, Venezuela employs enough of what our gun-grabbers call “common sense gun safety laws” to make Michael Bloomberg’s shark eyes roll back to show their whites. And as is always the case, it’s not that they’re “anti-gun.” They like guns just fine as long as they’re the “only ones” controlling them... [More]
