Since I seem to be fixated on numbers this morning, I have a couple simple questions for the FBI's Hostage Rescue Team:
Since your unit was activated in 1983, how much money, total, have your operations cost the American taxpayer?
How many hostages have you rescued?
How much is that per hostage?
Oh, I guess I also need to factor in how many "hostages" you haven't rescued...
By the way, you guys wouldn't happen to know anything about a BIG METAL DOOR, would you...?
People like you are what is wrong with this country.
ReplyDeleteLet me say this very clear. They are the good guys.
So you want to put a price on peoples lives. What is yours worth? How about your family? I'm just trying to figure out what HRT has to work with. I mean, if a situation costs too much money, do they let the kidnapper or terrorist go? This has to be the stupidest set of questions I've ever read.
Why do people like you take the word of murderers like it is gospel?
How much are hostages lives worth?!?!?!?!?
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe someone would honestly ask that question.
Any mouse #1 is an idiot. David is not taking the word of the murders as the HRT ARE THE MURDERERS! Ever hear of a place called Ruby Ridge? I thought not. How about a town in Texas, goes by the name of Waco, ever hear of that? Ever hear of a evil and vile executioner named Lon Horiuchi? No? He murdered a woman who was doing nothing more than holding her infant child. His employment? FBI HRT. Why don't you educate yourself instead of posting completely stupid comments on this board.
ReplyDeleteI don't want to debate Ruby Ridge or Waco because you seem to know less than I do. But thanks for assuming I know nothing. I actually know a lot about Lon Horiuchi. I do know he helped rescue hostages that were being held in a hotel and was deployed to several missions in Mexico to stop the drug trade.
ReplyDeleteWhile we're talking educating ourselves, please, if you are so interested, pick up a book or go talk to an agent. Yes, HRT has rescued people. But that's not all that they do. Did you know when mass killings were happening in Kosovo, HRT was deployed to help? They provided security for aid workers in the country. They also helped bring many killers to justice during their investigations while there.
Sorry to get under your skin but those questions struck at me like mine struck at you.
Since I DO know what HRT does, I feel asking those questions is no different than asking how many people has the coast guard rescued? How much per person?
Thanks,
Trev
(had problems with registration so still Any Mouse for now )
Just in case you wanted some information:
ReplyDeletehttp://www.answers.com/topic/hostage-rescue-team
So now when asked, to the best of your knowledge, HRT has saved the lives of people. Some prison guards would probably pay a hefty amount for HRT's services
Thanks,
Trev again
Any mouse, Trevvy, whatever your name, you are still an idiot. Lon Horiuchi should be on death row awaiting his lethal injection. When you try to defend the indefensible , you show the world what a complete moron you are. Of course you don't want to debate Ruby Ridge or Waco because you know you can't make an argument excusing what was done to those people. If you really want to get technical, the FBI is an illegal organization, unconstitutional and should be abolished along with several other illegal FED GOV departments. For instance, the IRS, the BATFE, and others too numerous to mention here. No rational american believes the FBI HRT are the "good guys". They are a paramilitary group whose mission is to terrorize the public.
ReplyDeleteDid you know when mass killings were happening in Kosovo, HRT was deployed to help?
ReplyDeleteI don't think any comment I made could add anything to the dark humor of this sentence.
And why are we sending hit teams around the world to kill people? Is this a justification for supporting government hunter killer teams?
ReplyDeleteWhy doesn't the HRT stay in Kosovo or somewhere else where they are not a threat to "free" U.S. citizens.
I don't want Lon armed, I want him executed for murder and I want all "Hostage Rescue Teams" disbanded.
Instead of having government hunter killer teams that operate with impunity, lets start jailing criminals forever so law abiding citizens do not have to live in fear of the lawless or the law.
Fight Islam Now
What did Lon do at Ruby Ridge and why? I would like anyone who thinks he should be executed to answer that. I myself know the answer, I know the answer because I know many of the people there that day and I know Lon. For any of you who read this garbage and who don't know what to think let me just tell you that Lon and the people he has served with and the members of HRT are among the hardest working and most patriotic people you will ever have the priviledge to know. Anyone who says differently is an anti-government right (or left) wing nut job. Lon fired at an armed man who had just fired at a helicopter who was running for cover only to carry out a future attack. Unfortunately Vicky opened the door at the moment the shot broke. The round went through the door, Vicky and into the son. Lon never saw Vicky.
ReplyDeleteRandy Weaver did not fire at any helicopter, Lonny boy, being your hero, should have known what his target was and what was behind it. Your defense of that vile piece of human garbage in sickening. The Feds lied through their teeth in order to CTA, pure and simple. Randy and Scott were both exonerated of the charges related to this Fed fiasco and the Feds had to pay over 3 million in a settlement to the Weavers. I am sure they did this so that their lies would not be subject to public scrutiny in a court of law. At the end of the day, Randy convicted on the trumped up charge of the shotgun, which he was entrapped into, Scott Harris a free man, Vicki murdered in cold blood and jackasses like you falling all over themselves to try and defend the indefensible.
ReplyDeleteI just noticed, in your last sentence, that you are the one that has no clueo f what happened at Ruby Ridge. Idiot Lon's shot did not go throught the door, into Vicki and into their son, he was already dead! Murdered by the one fed who got what he deserved, Degan
ReplyDeleteIf I am not mistaken it was later proven that scumbag Cooper was the one that murdered Sammy Weaver by shooting him the back. Also it is not mentioned that a few years ago Lon and his murdering thugs showed up at a defensive shooting school in Texas. They used false identification (illegial to possess in Texas) to obtain services (also illegial in Texas). What possible reason could these "highly trained" pieces of Gestapo garbage be doing at a civilian defensive shooting school using false identification to obtain services that they are supposed to already have?
ReplyDeleteHas Lon's friend forgotten that Lonny boy was caught red handed committing perjury at Randy Weaver's trial? If he is not guilty of anything then why did this murdering thug lie about it?
ReplyDeleteAt the time of congressional hearings over Ruby Ridge the head of the US Marshall's service by the name of Hudson said under oath words to the effect that civilian lives were not worth as much as the elitist fedral leo's were.
"Anyone who says differently is an anti-government right (or left) wing nut job."
ReplyDeleteOh, I see, ALL gov. agents are angels! They NEVER do ANY evil! And, if you don't 'agree' with the government, that makes you a 'nut job'?
Don't worry People, that puts us in some REAL GOOD company. Here is a list of some previous 'anti-government' 'nut jobs':
George Washington,
Patrick Henry,
James Madison,
Benjamin Franklin,
Thomas Paine,
Samuel and John Adams,
Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.,
St. George Tucker,
Joseph Story,
Alexander Hamilton,
Thomas Jefferson,
George Mason,
Richard Henry Lee,
James Wilson,
Dwight D. Eisenhower,
Etc., etc., etc.
"If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself. A dependence on the people is, no doubt, the primary control on the government; but experience has taught mankind the necessity of auxiliary precautions...."
- James Madison, Federalist No. 51
Personally, I'd rather be known as an 'Anti' nut job, than a MINION.
Abolish the government? Oh, sure. Then what will you say when Al Qaeda or some other extremists come to your door? "Wait guys, I'm on your side, I helped stop th people who were stopping you." For some reason, I don't think you'll get much thanks unless you consider thanks to be hot metal.
ReplyDeleteAlfonso
I'm glad to see that a google search on Larry Potts and Lon Horiuchi, still brings up the truth about these baby killers, keep up the good work David and don't let the "good little citizens" get you down.
ReplyDeleteYou will never know the good, only the bad makes it to the public.
ReplyDeleteWow...how old are we here? You all are bickering like 5th graders. Why don't you consider the possibility that none of you are 100% right or wrong and only the people actually involved really know what's going on?
ReplyDeleteYou know, I actually laughed when I read the comment about how the mission of HRT is to terrorize the public. That's absurd. If that were the case then every single person in a leadership position in the government is a completely evil, anti-freedom criminal. So what, when people are hired or elected they automatically decide to inflict evil on their own people?
