*chuckle* That column ran in my local paper two days ago. I thought to write a response but since it started right out (1st paragraph) with a lie and went down hill from there, my response would been too long to get printed. So many corrections and so little space.
i enjoy a good rant, but to be a "good rant" it must stick to the facts and not play fast and loose with the truth. the "gentleman" writing for the l.a. times fails on both counts, he also borders on incoherence. 'tis too sad, another tree dead for nothing.
