Gun Guy Libels Shamaya

Guilty until proven innocent, eh "Gun Guy"? Somehow, that attitude coming from you doesn't surprise me.

This'll be great when the menacing charge gets dropped. Maybe we can get the antis to foot Angel's legal bills.

Don't you just love the way the cowardly, anonymous Gonzo Guy just drips with catty venom at the prospect of a gun rights believer being destroyed by the state? Do you have any doubt that this is something he wants to see repeated on anyone who opposes his statist ideology?

Take note of his tone--take note of his suspicion--take note of his glee.

Take note of his hate.

Also note the big, sinister deal Gonzo makes of Angel's (legal and recorded) name change--this coming from a guy who routinely either calls himself "Gun Guy" or "Mike Magnum."

Gonzo Guy has also written a "character reference" of sorts--naturally more of the hate-filled lies that are his trademark. Unlike the rest of us, who put our names on our letters, he fears being known and attacks from the shadows. That figures. That's where this wretched creature belongs.

Let's all take a breath before we comment on this one--and let him be the only one to make an emotion-driven hate-filled fool of himself.

UPDATE: Nicki weighs in.

  1. The "gun guy" is no better than the undersheriff - making pronouncements of guilt based on hearsay. And I'm not familiar with the word "weapondry." Can someone enlighten me?

    "...just last Saturday got caught by police with what we now find out was a huge cache of illegal weapondry."

    You can bet that when actual facts do come out, you won't find them at gun guy.

  2. It always amazes me how the media craps all over themselves about guns, or specifically, the number of guns found in any allegedly illegal "arsenal."

    It’s as if the alleged perp has the capability of carrying and shooting 17 or so guns and 17,000 rounds of ammo at one time.

    BTW – if you happen to have several bricks of .22 rimfire ammo, and you get raided by JBTs, the paper will claim that you had thousands of rounds of ammo in your possession. If you happen to have a modest gun collection, they will likely report that you had umpteen guns, including the ubiqutious high-power semi-auto assault rifle (even if you just have a semi-auto .22 or auto-loading shotgun) I've seen it happen before.

    If Angel happened to have a few boxes of centerfire rifle ammunition – which he likely did – we can expect to hear that he had armor –piercing ammunition in his “illegal arms cache.”

    Funny how the “Gun Guy” hides behind his internet moniker while libeling Angel for the “crime” of an alleged name change.

    Wow! I guess that means that my wife, who changed her name to avoid a stalker, and a female attorney that I sometimes work for are both criminals, along with folks like Madonna and thousands of actors and entertainers.

  3. First, this moonbat assumes that Angel's legal name change is hiding an unsavory past, while HE hides behind a nom de plume on his blog. And to top it off, he calls himself "Gun Guy", when he's one of the WORST Brady shills I have ever seen, and should be called "gun CONTROL Guy"! And then he lied IN COURT?!?!?

    This is without a doubt the most gall I have ever seen in one human (?) being!!!

  4. You know, I never heard of Mike Magnum before you and Nicki mentioned him.

    Hopefully I'll never hear anything about him again. Unless he needs a character reference.

  5. David,
    Gun Guy is some kind of Anti-Gun website. Ran across them when I was assembling my site. They are
    a dissembling site for our Rights. It is some type of joint Brady venture or something.

    If you'd like, I would love nothing more than the opportunity of another joint strategic operation. The Gun Guys are refuse.

  6. Actually David, I stand corrected. It doesn't appear to be the Brady's, it is yet ANOTHER Anti-Gun 'beast' that has arisen from the murky depths! Witness;

    This page is what 'pops-up' when you click on the link in the upper right hand corner;

    http://www.freedomstatesalliance.com/splash.php?redirect=gunguys

    Lock, and load people!

  7. They have a banner up top that reads '50 caliber terror' with a .50 in front of an airlener in the background. There is a prominent 'target' on the fuselage.
    When you click the linked banner this 'pops-up';

    http://www.freedomstatesalliance.com/splash.php?redirect=50cal

    Our enemies are getting more crafty!

  8. This page says it all.

    http://www.gunguys.com/gunsanity.htm

    Why would anyone take anything from that site seriously? They have a firearm death section dubbed "Shooting Gallery" and constantly bemoan any measures that will strengthen the Second amendment.

    That ".50 cal Terror" link at the top should be a dead giveaway that all is not what it appears.

  9. True enough, Josh. I finally noticed the ".50 caliber terror" banner, and suddenly my thought processes said, "Oh. He's one of THOSE idiots. Nuff said." And I calmed down.

  10. I followed the tail of the beast and located its head;
    http://www.freedomstatesalliance.com/

    Following is their statement of 'purpose';

    "Freedom States Alliance member Wisconsin Anti Violence Educational Fund (WAVE) successfully fights off an effort by the gun lobby to let people carry hidden handguns in the Badger State. A big victory to begin 2006!"

    Everyone knows their assigned positions. Keep your powder dry!

  11. Ben -

    weapondry; term used by imbecillic, Treacherous, Anti-Americans in describing the Tools of Freedom.

  12. I had never heard of this site before, but having just looked it over, it seems like it should really be called "anti-gun guys."

    Pffft!

  13. Yes, it's part of the Freedom States Alliance. I think--think--they get their money from the Joyce Foundation.

    I bet they'll argue that Angel Shamaya is a "public figure" in this context with respect to libel law. That would force plaintiff to establish actual malice rather than the lower standard, reckless disregard for the truth, when a private individual sues for libel.

    It might be hard for them to make that defense--I've been interested in gun rights and shooting sports, and active on the Internet in those areas for over two years, and the first I ever heard of Mr. Shamaya was when the announcement of his arrest went out. That's not to be taken as a reflection on him or his work, just on the merit of a possible "public-figure" defense.

    I strongly suggest caching the site, if there's any possibility of future legal action. Wouldn't want this to get down the memory hole. Whoever's behind the FSA has deeeep pockets, and might now be exposed.

  14. I know this is an old thread, but I just came across it today and am interested in the topic as I have been on this clown's mailing list for several months.

    First, I think we give him too much credit by referring to him as "them". As near as I can tell, "Gun Guys", "Freedom States Alliance", and "50 Caliber Terror" are all products of the same, single moonbat. Aside from the similar styles in both smarmy content and state-of-the-art 1996 HTML appearance of all of these entities, the August 8 2005 "issue" of "Your Gun Guys Daily Update" was actually sent out from the "freedomstatesalliance@yahoo.com" account by accident. Obviously, friend moonbat lost track of which of his many accounts he was logged into. Thank God he doesn't like guns; I wouldn't trust him anywhere near the trigger of a firearm.

    Seems to me the best way to counter this nut (other than to just ignore him) is to simply expose his true identity. Seems like he's dug himself a pretty deep, safe burrow, but a personality like his tends to leave a trail all over the Internet. It shouldn't be too hard to identify and expose him as the single person behind these alleged "groups".

  15. Eugene, I was on the trail of him and may have fouond something. Right now I'm too busy to pursue it, but I agree--exposing this clown for who he is will and should happen.

  16. The more projectile weapons in the hands of dumbass americans the less you infect the world genepool, more guns i say, free guns at the mall, free guns for kids with their breakfast cereal.

  17. Talk about a dumbass--this post is a year and a half old--nobody is coming to these archives to see your comment except for occasional random search hits. Figure out how blogs work, moron.

    "Jinkii Hates"--ain't that obvious?

    Tell me, asshole--you hate Americans--what part of the world are you from--the part whose ass we saved, in which case you're an ingrate, or the part whose ass we kicked, in which case, fuck you, loser, make something of it.

    Oh, wait--I just checked the site visit stats--you're from this side of the pond--in which case you're one of those self-loathing bedwetter pussies who make no difference.

  18. All I want to know is where on the "gun guy" web site can I post a blog. Oh wait, they don’t want to hear the truth.

    I'm from Ohio and I want to know when the last time you heard of a good citizen with a concealed gun carry permit kill someone? When was the last time you heard of a good citizen just randomly rob and kill anyone? The "gun guy" wants to take the "good guys" guns away and let the criminal keep their unregistered weapon.
