We're the Only Ones Driving Enough

Two police officers patrolling the beach in an SUV ran over and killed a sunbather Monday, authorities said.

The officers did not immediately realize they ran over the woman and continued driving...
Oh, yes--here's the kicker we all knew was coming--after all, they are The Only Ones:
The officers have been placed on paid leave pending an investigation.

    And surprise, surprise, the officers weren't immediately identified.

    Anyone for bets on a sub-citizen's treatment under the same circumstances?
