4th Amendment Suspension Bill Passes House

[T]he House of Representatives has approved a tough new anti-drug and anti-weapon law that would require local districts to develop search policies – including strip searches – with immunity against prosecution for teachers and staff...

The bill was the brainchild of Rep. Geoff Davis, R-Kentucky...

Congressman, I don't care if you are "A"-rated on guns by GOA. Unless you can point to where you're delegated specific authority to do this in this document, you're a usurper.

And so is every member of the House that supports this expansion of police state tyranny.

Amendment IV

The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.

  1. I am so disgusted by this usurpation that I can't think straight. Will these tyrants now tell us that 'the people' as stated in Amendment IV now refers to the gov't? Where have I heard that one before? And they'll do it like they are doing us a favor. NEA supports the legislation what a surprise! "Protects the rights of students from unreasonable searches". My A**! If it just saves [sniff] one child. What the heck, if the "War on Terror" can justify the suspension of the Constitution, so too can the "War on Drugs" and any other "War on ..." that gov't decides is in our best interest. Each passing day further justifies the decision my wife and I made to home school. The time is now to take action against HR5295.

  2. This is another test. They are pushing to see how much resistance there is. They gauge how far they can push the limits. By the level of resistance met with each new push.

Eventually We The People will HAVE to puch back - HARD. Or, they WILL roll right over us.

Sometimes it seems as if we have no written Constitution at all....But, that's what happens when it is not enforced.

If We The People were armed, as intended, there would be no 'terror' problem.

  4. Immunity from prosecution does not provide immunity from physics or ballistic physics.

They had better rethink that one.

  5. Ed, what they are doing is sowing the seeds of their own destruction.

Isn't it peculiar how ignorant and clueless the supposed educated can be?
