Is It Time to Arm Our Rural Schools?

One suggestion would be to follow the lead set by North Carolina, which since 1993 has had the state-based Center for Prevention of School Violence working to place armed School Resource Officers (SROs) inside its schools.
No, it's time for free sovereign individuals to keep and bear arms in all public places, including all schools, not just rural ones. Remember, Columbine had a trained "Resource Officer," and while he protected himself marvelously, when Harris retreated for easier prey, the officer did not pursue.

  1. I heard a rural school teacher yesterday on NPR, her name and school weren't revealed due to her fear of becoming a target, who wanted a siren to be installed on top of her schoolhouse. She thought the way to be protected was to alert the nearest house, 1/4 mile away, so they could contact LE and come to the student's rescue.

She didn't request an 870 and a locker to put it in and training. Instead, she wants a siren and to put the obligation of protection on someone else's shoulders.

    Ludicrous. And pathetic.

  2. Until this country returns to standing on the intended, established basis of; "the laws of nature and of natures God"

Nothing will return to normal. The laws of nature and God are immutable. What we are witnessing is the ramifications of being lead, perversely, astray from the intended system. It has turned out the 'wise ones' were not so wise after all....

Seems as though he acted in exact concert with the policy of the swat team and law breaking monitors,er,uh, law enforcement officers. They all went home safely, though none of them did their duty, despite their protestations that they are the only ones who should protect and defend innocent life.

Not just cowards, but lying cowards.
