Do the Right Thing

The school board for an elementary district has chosen to have a student home schooled instead of expelling him in response to a possession of a gun incident.

The board at Troy Elementary School District made that decision Wednesday night after administrators recommended an expulsion. On Nov. 15, the boy found a pellet gun and turned it over to an official at Troy Middle School...
Am I the only one who thinks they have actually done him a favor? And any guesses on what he'll do if he ever finds another gun?

  1. O.K., let me get this straight: The boy was nearly expelled for trying to do the RIGHT THING?!?!? ABSOLUTELY APPALLING!!!!!

I'll be that boy will NEVER trust the "authorities" again! I know I wouldn't!

And yes, they did the boy a favor, because he's out of the evil indoctrination center.

  2. IIRC, they did expel him, for two years. Best thing that they could have done for him and I hope he learned well that lesson about trusting Board of Education people.

  3. Don't act so surprised. The reward for doing the right thing in this country has been to be bitch-slapped for a long time now. I did something similiar in the Army in Germany in the 1970's and like to had my face scrubbed off with a sander. That's the day I stopped being a boy scout. My recommended decision is for the school board be summmarily dismissed, forfeiture of all pay and allowances, a $10,000.00 fine, and expulsion from the U.S.A. for a period of not less than 10 years.

  4. snitches be aware, this is what happens.

At least he'll get some good education now. Some nice pistol and rifle training would compliment that nicely.

  5. They already expelled him. I' sure the parents simply told these idiots that they will homeschool the kid instead of submitting to their insanity.

Giving them "permission" is just a lame attempt at face saving.

  7. Question: Wasn't the principal also in possession of a gun in a prohibited place? Should not he be in jail if this really is a zero tolerance policy?
