'Toy' gun killed our tragic son
Bloody brilliant.

  1. This one must be a close second:

"the number of children using replica weapons was 'a massive problem' for the force."
    --Sgt Steve Nash, Firearms officer

Or this one for the "stretching the boundary of all credibility" award

"I'm not against all guns, and there is a place for them with proper control."
    --Mrs Jayne Atkinson

    Yeah, OK, sure.....

  2. WOW!

    David,
You been saving that one for a special occasion haven't you?

    LOL!

Oh, BTW, you win! How can you beat midget wrestlers with staple guns?

  3. No, actually I ran across it in this morning's new search but didn't have time to blog it--so thanks for providing the perfect opening.

  4. Yes, but the headline of the story is 'Toy' gun killed our tragic son

    The son was tragic?

the father is an ex "only one" and Mrs. self-righteous states:

"I don't really think parents and guardians are aware just how dangerous air guns are.

'I find it offensive when they are described as toys because that's the last thing they are.' "

The obvious question is where the hell was she and her "only one" husband when their son was playing with a sister and cousin at his aunt's house? Where was her sister/sister-in-law at the time?

Do as I say mentality...it never works.
