On this day in 1752, future Patriot Gouverneur Morris is born to the wealthy Morris family of New York.

  1. isn't it amazing that the people who revolted and founded this country were the ones with the most to lose? Also, to compare and contrast that to where we're at today isn't it interesting that those who are stealthily, incrementally, and deceptively taking us through another revolution are the ones with the most to GAIN?

    yes, yes, I'm sure this has been pointed out countless times before.

    The powers that be have learned their lessons and are not repeating their historical blunders. We the people should always remember that evil does not simply go away, it just waits.
