NYC Court Recognizes "Stand Your Ground"

An off-duty police lieutenant who shot and killed his unarmed tenant during an argument was found not guilty of criminal charges yesterday evening.
Well, at least they recognize it for "The Only Ones."

I hate to say "I told you so..."

  1. Yeah, that's about right.

The "property" owners want to be the only ones armed. Just like the other "Only Ones". So that they can take care of the riff-raff such as this customer (tenant). And not have to worry about the customer/employee being able to exercise their "inalienable" right in return....

'Freedom is fine for me, but NOT for thee, for I own property!'

  2. Sounds like he gunned down a lone, unarmed man. I didn't hear anything about him facing deadly force, and I didn't hear anything about him exercising his "duty to retreat" which is required outside one's home in New York. Sounds like some legal issues got swept under the rug.
People have gone to prison for opening fire while facing greater threats, like Harold Fish.

    And Bernie Goetz.

This no good sonofabitch shot the man two times after he turned away. An unarmed man that dared to disagree with him. And a jury decided it was fine. FUCK THEM ALL. FEED THEM FISH HEADS AND RICE AND EJECT THEM FROM AMERICA.

I will not take a hand in this, but I swear by all I am that if he had done such to one of mine, his least fucking worry in the world would be a trial or a lawsuit.

  4. Unbelievable! Where do they find the morons to sit on these juries, the coma ward? What would have happened if it was you or I? Even if we were up against an armed robber and had shot him, we would be in Attica by now.
