st goes to show you that the BATF is more interested in shutting down a normal, lawful business than searching out drug cartels or ACTUAL illegal gun sellers. Y or N instead of Yes or No? It's human nature to do things the mose efficiently, and that is efficient. Besides, those wouldn't even really be his fault; they would be the person who filled out the forms' fault. Does it even explicitly say that you have to write out yes or no?
Actually, the (new) form is quite explicit: "11. Answer questions 11.a through 12 by writing "yes" or "no" in the boxes to the right of the questions."
Show me the bit that mentions abbreviations and tell me how the boxes to fill in full adresses are adequate size.....come on now. What's your agent number robert?
I deal in truth, Anonymous, and the truth is, the form explicitly states to write "yes" or "no". And no, I'm not an agent. The only number I have relevant to this discussion is my FFL number.
Who, whoa, whoa, Anon--I don't put all this work into this site to give you a place to come and thoughtlessly insult site commenters. You want to be shown the place? All you need to do is type "form 4473" into Google and the very first link is this: http://www.atf.gov/forms/4473/
You would do well to do a bit of truth-seeking before issuing pronouncments, and especially accusations. And you owe Robert an apology.

ReplyDeleteIt doesn't explicitly say much of anything as to how to fill it out.

Peruse the forms yourself. They enforce things however they want with no oversight other than kangaroo courts.
