We're the Only Ones Cutting a Rug Enough

A grand jury indicted a former police officer on murder charges Thursday in the death of his pregnant girlfriend, whose 2-year-old son was left alone in an apartment to tell police: "Mommy was crying ... Mommy's in rug."

Bobby Cutts Jr. could receive the death penalty if convicted in the June death of Jessie Davis and her unborn child.

But I thought men like Cutts were a cut above the rest of us, who can't be trusted with guns like they can. I thought they were "The Only Ones"...

Can you explain how can we have legal abortion of a fetus on one hand, and on the other hand, murder of an unborn child?

  2. One of the interesting things in this case was that the victim actually disappeared about three months ago, the son said "mommy is in the rug" and the police continued to say the boyfriend / cop was not a suspect for months (even after the body was found) until there was no other choice but to arrest the a-hole.

Statistically, it's "always" the boyfriend / husband and if it were any of us common civilians does anyone think the "only ones" would have contorted themselves into pretzels to aid our defense until there was no other option or would we be treated as suspect murderers and be waiting in jail?

There is a case in Oakland, CA right now, about to come to trial - Mrs. Reiser has been missing for +/- 6 months, no body, no sign of struggle, no blood but the husband (not being a cop) has been incarcerated for most of the pre trial investigation

    No double standard here.
