And the Winner Is...

The award, considered the UK benchmark for awarding campaigns on the basis of results, credited the campaign with leading to an 86% rise in calls providing information on gun crime, and a 15% reduction in actual gun crime.

Yeah, right.

Good grief.

  1. This is proof that there is a philosophy that says when you have done something monumentally stupid and immoral your only option is to lie your ass off.

The next time they are attacke you bet I won't be sending them any aid or donating any armament. Unlike our fathers and grandfathers did. They have proven unworthy.

  2. Uhhmmm, not to quibble, but my grandfather and great grandfather did not send funds or armaments to England. They knew how dishonest the sassenach were. Admittedly, funds may have gone to the so called British Isles...

  3. That may well be true of your family Gregg, but many many Americans sent any firearms they could to England when they came begging.

They will beg in vain for my aid, until such time as they value their subjects as free citizens.

It matters not to me which tyrant controls the people of the UK, if tyranny is inevitable. Since it is self-inflicted in their case it is inevitable. Since they didn't learn a damn thing last time, they have no reasonable expectation of aid from their betters.

I can't speak for others, but I am their better. And I refuse to help someone who will not help himself. Especially when that someone has had practical demonstrations time and again of the horror of helplessness.
