Interesting, to read "when we approached the NRA in 2002, we were actually told that such an event would be 'inopportune in the current circumstances.'”
I'm considering cancelling my NRA membership, them fighting to keep the Heller case out of the Supreme Court did it for me. They don't protect gun rights any more, only their own powerful jobs (by weilding the power to give our rights away in exchange for political favor) under the guise of "gun rights".
David, thanks for the reminder...coincidentally I just got a paycheck and stopped off for ammo...now I just have to go buy more to make it official.
Wouldn't the simple concept of advertising almost demand the NRA to make a mention? Uh, hello you morons, you mention it, your advertisers make cash, you could up your rates for ammo manus this time of year. Geez, sometimes I swear they're not on our side...oh, wait, nevermind.

ReplyDeleteOh, also thinking of upping my donations to Gun Owners of America.
ReplyDeleteIf I weren't a Life Member of NRA**holes I would have quit years ago.
