There was a little less enchantment in the Magic Kingdom Sunday morning when a 63-year-old Pennsylvania woman was taken into custody for allegedly bringing a loaded semi-automatic into the park.
Florida does have reciprocity with Pennsylvania, so the presumption is she did not have a permit since she was charged with concealed carry of a firearm.
Stringent, zero-tolerance, security measures have been in place at all Central Florida theme parks since September 11, 2001.
Security at the park entrances, like most places, is a joke. They quickly glance into your bag and wave you through. A terrorist strapped with enough explosives to blow up Main Street could waltz right in.
How do you "forget" you're carrying a gun? And I guess I'd ask if she has a conceal permit,and does Florida have Resiprocity Laws?
