A 7-year-old-girl is being hailed as an "angel from heaven" and a hero for jumping in front of an enraged gunman, who pumped six bullets into the child as she used her body as a shield to save her mother's life.
I think it's a damn shame the mother wasn't prepared to defend her child, which is the way it's supposed to be, instead of bringing in scummy reptile boyfriends to endanger her children.

ReplyDeleteShould work now...site had one of those java ad intro pages...
ReplyDelete"The first [911] operator clicked off and I dialed again and told that operator a guy with a gun was holding me hostage with a mother and baby and threatening to kill us. I told her the name of the gas station and then she said they didn't have a unit to send."
ReplyDeleteOddly enough, when the station attendant reported shots fired, police were there within a minute. What lesson can we learn from this?
The goblin in question has a history of violence and armed crime-
ReplyDeleteAssault/resisting arrest, Assault with Intent to Rob while Armed, Home Invasion - 1st Degree, Cut, Break, Tap Wire or Cable, and, Assault with Dangerous Weapon (Felonious Assault).
Question is, what the heck was he doing out on the streets?
Question 2- when can we expect to hear about the disciplinary action taken against the 911 operators?
Why would there be disciplinary action taken against the 911 operator? If there is no duty to protect then the operator can not be held liable for action or inaction resulting in a death.
ReplyDeleteWith the 911 system help is just minutes away, sadly it takes only seconds to die.
