URGENT ACTION NEEDED NOW!

CA MICROSTAMPING BILL ON ARNOLD'S DESK

From CALGUNS:

CALL Gov's Sac number (916-445-2841)

Press 1 - for English
Press 2 - for Voice your opinion on Assembly Bills
Press 1 - for Micro Stamping Bill (AB1471)
Press 2 to OPPOSE the gun control bill.

Via RuffRidr, who says:
You don't have to speak to anyone. This takes 20 seconds. That's it! I repeat, you do not need to speak to anyone,
and Les K, who also reminds us:
And if you are out of state, remember, there are other states looking to impose similar state (and federal) legislation, so feel free to call in and post your opinions too.
UPDATE: I note some have said it took several attempts to get through. That shows people are calling, so we should make sure most of the calls are from us. I had luck of the draw and got right through--mission accomplished in that 20 seconds RuffRidr was telling us about.

Somos Los Unicos Exploiting the "Gun Show Loophole" Enough

Three high-ranking Mexican police officers were arrested on allegations of buying weapons and ammunition at a gun show in Phoenix in violation of a law barring noncitizens from purchasing firearms, a U.S. official said Wednesday...

It appeared the officers were buying the handguns for their personal use...

In other news, high-ranking Mexican police officers complain about US guns illegally coming in to Mexico.

The solution, of course, is to impose further controls on you and me.

You can't make this stuff up.

Ignorance and Fear

They're scary. That's the crux of the gun debate spurred by the AR platform.

The AR platform looks like a machine gun.
That's what the antis are counting on.

That's why Kent Peacock, president of Firearm Safety Training Inc., invited outdoor media to a tactical rifle open house at the Illinois State Rifle Association range Aug. 28. I was the only one who took the opportunity to be enlightened.
And that is why the next incompetent and hysterical "authorized journalist" who opens his snotty, judgmental yap about "assault weapons"--without having taken the initiative to educate himself--ought to have his ignorant, lazy butt soundly group-kicked and ridiculed with a flood of derisive emails.

Fincher Denied IFP Status

From Paul W. Davis:

I hate to be abrupt and blunt, but I have no choice as time is of the essence and the issue is extremely serious...Wayne is denied IFP consideration for the government to pay for the transcript...The is how we are dealt with by the courts. We now have to come up with $1,100.00 immediately, and the balance when the transcript is done by this coming Tuesday...If we do not produce a transcript for Quentin and Stewart to use, then this case is OVER! There will be no reconsideration, no new trial, no anything further concerning Wayne's attempt to get the courts and government to recognize our individual right to keep and bear all arms necessary for our defense. I expect an answer by tomorrow as I have to provide an answer to the Court Reporter tomorrow.
Since this came in last night, that would be today. I have to wonder how many WarOnGuns regulars (besides me) have put a few dollars in the collection plate?

Why Isn't Your Gun Store Like Red's?

Red's Trying to Put More Guns "On the Street"!!!

If every gun store owner stood up and pushed back like this, and acted as a hub for educating customers about their rights and government abuses, we would really have a force for change. Logically, a gun store should be the focal point in a community not just as a source of arms, but as an authority in all matters gun-related, including being a disseminator of information about pending legislation, and a leader in education and activism for promoting the right to keep and bear arms.

That most fear speaking out lest they anger "Master" will not save them--as we've seen, dirty work is best done in the dark. If the gun store you patronize isn't a leader in this regard, ask them why not. And ask yourself why you don't do business with one that is.

We tend as human beings to absorb the attitudes of those around us. If we associate with the timid, the quiet, the cowed, the afraid-to-rock-the-boat, guess what mindset we will adopt?

Why would any man want to align himself with any but the bold?

Ryan, thanks for giving me an example of leadership under fire.

This Day in History: September 13

The ungrateful despotism and inordinate lust of domination, which marked the unnatural designs of the British king and his venal parliament, to enslave [tile? the?] people of America, reduced you to the necessity of either asserting your rights by arms, or ingloriously passing under the yoke. You nobly preferred war.

We all got that, right?

From Congress to their constituents?

"Read twice and unanimously agreed to"?

And who did Congress assume without question could "assert... [their] rights by arms"?

Their "Friends and Fellow-Citizens!"

Is the "debate" over yet? Because if it's not, the only possible explanation would be a deliberate campaign of lies to con the weak and foolish.
