Though it's perfectly legal, I'm a little curious what he was doing with that much in cash, and how someone knew he had it. I think there is a lot more to this story that we don't know yet.
Unfortunately it's not perfectly legal to carry that much cash. Think DEA and seizure of ill gotten gains from illegial activity.
It is perfectly legal to carry that much cash. It just that state sponsored and committed robbery has been legalized for when you do.
