The Chosen People

Who chose them?

Set, of course.I can't help but think of a T-shirt I saw a while back: "Campus Crusade for Cthulu: It Found Me"

Subsitute the chant "O-ba-ma!" with "Thul-sa-Doom!" It fits perfectly.

Friend Russ Howard sent this out the other day:

At first I thought Obama's slogan "Yes we can", was a vapid placebo, but a couple days ago it came to me what it means. We'll be hearing it a lot if Obama becomes President. While the use will always be generally similar, slight variants, emphasis, etc., will depend on the scenario. For example:

"Hey! You can't take 100% of my disposable income!"

"Yes we can."

Or,

"Hey, you can't take my guns!"

"Yes... We ... Can."

Suggested variations, depending on the situation,

* Sideways nod and raised eyebrows for emphasis

* "Oh ho ho ho, yes we can."...

* "Oh really?"...

* Dr. Evil pinkie on the corner of the mouth

etc.

  2. Russ Howard adds:

    Not that McQuisling's much better.

It would be more accurate to say "we'll be hearing Yes We Can a lot if we don't get enough real Republicans into the legislature to block whichever brand of socialist is now guaranteed to become President."

McQuisling is not a conservative or a real Republican in an uncorrupted use of the words. But he's still a Republican in name, and not quite as much of an overt socialist as Democrats would like, so "liberals" and the media will prefer the actual Democrat over the RINO.

I won't vote for McQuisling or support him in any way. Any real R who does is acting like a battered wife who won't get away. McQuisling won't rest until he gets amnesty, which will be the coup de grace on the former USA, and he will find a way to force Republicans in congress to go along with that.

With a socialist now guaranteed to become President, the focus of real Rs should be on the legislature, NOT the Presidency. Instead of mesmerizing ourselves to support McQuisling, real Rs should focus all resources on electing real Republicans to congress and the senate, for several reasons:

    1. If Barack Herbert Walker Obama wins, we will need as many real Rs in congress as possible to block his subversive agenda.

    2. If Her Thighness wins, we will need as many real Rs in congress as possible to block its subversive agenda.

    3. If McCain wins, we will need as many real Rs in congress as possible to block his subversive agenda.

    4. McCain getting the nom gives RINOs ammo to act as if the "old base" is history (in that sense it would be better if McCain lost the Presidency). To counter that, we need to put more real Rs in the house & senate, or at least not lose any.

    5. Americans like checks & balances. If it's put to them that way, they may want more of a Republican senate & congress if they're going to elect Obama or Hillary.

So why lift a pinkie for McCain? Why not take all the fear of Obama / Hillary, use it to convince the base to get out and elect an R Senate & Congress, and convince the rest of the public that we need the check & balance of an R legislature? Remind them that we will have a pro-amnesty President, and that having enough real Rs in congress & the senate was the only thing that stopped the Bush-Kennedy-McCain amnesty. No matter who is elected, we we don't focus on getting real Rs in congress, the spring of 2009 will be Amnesty Armageddon and the forces of evil will prevail.

Why not let the RINOs spend THEIR money and resources for McCain, while we use OUR money and resources to elect real Republican congressmen & senators? Why take resources we could have used to elect real Rs and waste them to elect a RINO, cutting our own throats?

P.S. In places like California, I suspect a huge number of illegals registered Republican, voted, and stole the election for McCain. It's risk free for illegals to vote not only once but multiple times each thanks to our suicidally stupid system of anonymous mail-in registration and anonymous absentee balloting. Such fraud is rarely prosecuted even in the most egregious cases, and is never talked about. Plus, illegals have a huge incentive: It guarantees that they can stay here. It doesn't really matter to them whether Hillary or Obama gets the D nom. By stealing the election for McCain, it's win-win in November no matter who becomes President. Next, it's not a big thing for them to vote illegally as it would be for you and me. They wouldn't be crossing the Rubicon in their mind as we would be. They come from extremely corrupt countries where election theft and all sorts of fraud are grand traditions. They began defecating on our laws the minute they crossed the border, and they've done it every day since by remaining here illegally. Identity fraud and theft of citizenship rights are endemic in that community. Finally, it was the biggest turnout in California since 1976, and a huge surge in absentee balloting. Fifth, Romney was favored. But pollsters can't ask: "So how many times will you be voting for McCain in this election?" They can't adjust for voter propensity greater than one. Thus you would expect a "surprise" for McCain if there was massive fraud.

  3. "Yes we can" isn't really Obama's slogan. He stole it from Cesar Chavez.
