An increasingly firm Howard Dean told CNN again Thursday that he needs superdelegates to say who they’re for – and “I need them to say who they’re for starting now...We’ve got to know who our nominee is.”Because otherwise, we'd have to, you know, let the people decide...
An increasingly desperate Howard Dean . . .
ReplyDeleteWhat a dysfunctional, authoritarian schmuck! The neo-Stalinist prick has no ability to run the party, so he resorts to bullying the superdelegates in an effort to shift the blame!
Howie baby, you are it! If you can't run the party, then step aside and let someone who actually *has* people skills take over!
It couldn't have happened to a worse anti-gunner. After his mismanagement of this ongoing fiasco he might be able to get a job shining Bill Clinton's shoes, which might work out for him because the shoes won't care that he's a jerk. They might even like a fellow heel!
Dean runs the DNC because he ( quite litterally ) used Robert A Heinlein's politics book, and followed the advice within ... to the letter.
ReplyDeleteHis kids packed local precinct committees, and thus took over most of the state committees.
As long as his followers are in place and hold their current positions, the Dems will never be able to get him removed.
I would note that this same sort of thing could also work on the Republican party ... something to think about.
Hillary, Obama, McCain does it really matter? Unfortunately it took segregationist Governor Wallace to reveal the truth that "there's not a dime's worth of difference between" Republicans and Democrats. The Democrats willingly went along with the War in Iraq, suspension of Habeas Corpus, detaining protesters, banning books like "America Deceived' from Amazon, stealing private lands (Kelo decision), warrant-less wiretapping and refusing to investigate 9/11 properly. They are both guilty of treason.
ReplyDeleteWrite in Dr. Ron Paul and save this great nation.
Last link (before Google Books bends to gov't Will and drops the title):
America Deceived (book)
The Democrat party is just a club. The folks who run the club decide to back a candidate who is running for President. "The people" don't have much say in who the club decides to back, nor should they. Once the club makes its pick, then "the people" get to decide if they like the club's choice.
ReplyDeleteIf you don't like the Democrat Club's way of doing things, you are free to start your own club; difficult, but it can be done.
samsam
or ... you can take over the club by packing the membership with your own people.
ReplyDeleteHeh.
One prob with this "club" analogy is that the two major parties get a bunch of perks from the government for being major parties ... including a state paid-for primary to pick delegates.
Make ALL parties equal in state privileges, and I'll agree with the assertion that the Democrats are a club.
