Hello, Mary Lou...

Maybe we’ll eventually have to return to the Wild West and carry guns in holsters...Then it would come down to who is the quickest on the draw.

  1. That's funny, I carry my guns in holsters now...How else would I carry them?

  2. Well, Mary Lou, I'd prefer Wild West quick-draws to the unhindered massacres we're seeing now. Never mind that the "Wild West" argument has failed to materialize wherever CCW has gone into effect.

Damn it, woman! Grow a backbone, get a gun, and learn how to use it! Quit harping on those of us who carr!

  3. Has anyone informed MaryLou (gently, please; we don't need a case of PSH) that many holsters are '...designed for men and women and come in various colors and designs...'. Why not have a different holster for every day of the week, or have special 'commemorative' models to be worn only on 'Buy A Gun Day', 'National Ammo Day', and John Browning's birthday??

  4. Mary Lou...how would you defend yourself against a 275 pound man armed with a knife, or a bat, or a gun, intent on rape and/or murder? What would you most like to have in your purse...a celphone or a .38/.357? Don't you feel your life has merit unto itself sufficient that you should protect and defend it? Is your body your own, or does it belong to any man with the strength and will to take whatever he wants?

Guns are equalizers...when you're, say 70 years old, and in a wheelchair, and some young punk wants to knock you over and take your purse and your pension check, what are you going to do...rely on some kind stranger passing by to stop him, or defend yourself?
