Lead Us Not Into Appeasement...

The answer for GOP presidential candidate John McCain: take a page out of the Schwarzenegger playbook and sell a product that is "counter" to the current GOP brand on issues like global warming, spending and even immigration reform.

Yeah, that's the problem with the Republicans. They listen too much to their base. They need to "rebrand" and move even further to the left. That's what the "leadership" wants, and that's what the leadership is going to get--and McCain is ready to give them all that and more.

What's the definition of insanity again? How do some among us who claim "leadership" status think we got to where we are now? Tell me they don't know, at least the ones on the top.

Oh, and look: The leftists cheerleaders are already out there promoting the meme, with the intent of consolidating the infiltration and takeover of Democrat Party (R).

Professor Quigley would no doubt approve.

Maybe the Uniparty will drive people to Ron Paul and we'll avoid a democratic socialist republic.
It's not your grandfather's Democrats or Republicans anymore. I think not only would they not recognize them, they'd want to kick their @$$.

  2. Speaking of Kool-Aid, you should see the ad for actual Kool-Aid in the Parade Magazine Sunday newspaper supplement. "Old school flavor, now in sugar-free." Four young African-American boys on a corner, everyting but gang hand signals and tattoos. The attitude is "What the f--- you lookin' at?"
Thanks, advertising industry, for making sure arrogance stays "kool."

  3. "Maybe the Uniparty will drive people to Ron Paul and we'll avoid a democratic socialist republic."

What's the point of "driving people to Ron Paul" when Mr. Coy refused to run 3rd Party even after the R nom had been hijacked by RINOs? Yet he kept asking for donations even though he knew the nom was sewn up. So what does it even mean to drive voters to Paul?

What's the point, more donations for Ron Paul? What for? How does that stop socialism?

The same people who keep talking about supporting Ron Paul are the ones who would get irate anytime someone would suggest that he should run 3rd Party. Almost smells like a scam.

Is RP going to campaign for Bob Barr? Is he going to take all those donations and give them to Bob Barr?

  4. Here is a slogan for the GOP:

"Republican Party - were 1/3 evil with all the bad taste left in your mouth that you have come to love."

  5. I have a brand name idea to help Gov Schwarzenegger's effort to rebrand The Republican Party. How about this:

    "The Democratic Party".
