This Day in History: May 10

In the early morning hours of May 10, 1775, the patriot forces...reached the east side of Lake Champlain near Fort Ticonderoga.

  1. Second that. I spent an afternoon there, back in the summer of 'ninety and five ;-), on my way up to Maine. Just happened to be fife and drum corps there that day from fourteen states and two Canadian provinces.
