The U.S. House of Representatives is scheduled to debate two bills that could give the federal government unprecedented control over the way parents raise their children – even providing funds for state workers to come into homes and screen babies for emotional and developmental problems.Securing the blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our posterity, government-style, I see...

NOT, NOT, NOT.
ReplyDeleteNOT NOW, NOT EVER.
The LORD God gave children to parents, not the toilet tissue in government.
God knows I've seen my share of kids who should have been parented better -- with more love, understanding, tolerance, support. But the wankers in government ... Two of our recent Surgeons General AND Dr. Benjamin Spock, the child psychology expert, had kids who became felons or committed suicide. "Experts" can take a hike -- and had better.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutelyfuckingnot.III,Sipsey St. Irregulars.
ReplyDeleteThere shall be some emotional and developmental problems inflicted upon the visitors.
ReplyDeleteIt's not the visitors that you need to direct your wrath towards. It's the Politicians. THEY are the ones who need the reminding....... in whatever form that may require.
ReplyDeleteThe road to Hell and Tyranny, as well as other questionable locales, is paved with good intentions.
ReplyDeleteMommy, please protect me from evil. Pass more laws and enact more regulations.
Ain't no damn way!
I bought a copy of Orwell's "1984" during my last trip to Barnes & Noble. I haven't read "1984" since sometime in the late fifties. I think it's about time I take another look.
Orwell was an optimist.
ReplyDeleteBush has reorganized the national security apparatus, giving the director access to ALL intel, and presumably command and control of all those who gather it. An awesome amount of power in the hands of one person answerable only to the President. Oh, yes. Congress wasn't in on any of this.
Now our dossiers can start at age 1. Did you see that? He took a BIG step -- a goosey-step -- with his Left foot first. GOOD booooy!
It reeks of Fatherland security
ReplyDeleteGood place to start:
ReplyDeleteHave your babies at home and don't "register" them anywhere.
Educate them at home, period. Don't "register" them, even for Scouts, 4H or whatever. Any of those things get them into the data bases.
Don't live in any city.
Buy guns and ammunition...
In August 2006, professional child protective services workers in Philadelphia reported that Danieal Kelly seemed healthy and well. Five weeks later, she was dead of starvation. There was a coverup that's just coming to light.
ReplyDeleteI say they wouldn't get within 50 yards of my child, and that would only be until I could trade my pistol for my rifle.
Cities and bureaucracies are unnatural and, as such, unhealthy.
Obviously it's NOT about protection but CONTROL. As usual.
ReplyDeleteThe same people who leave a child in an abusive situation with a welfare mother until she dies would bring in the police to take children from home-schooling Christians who occasionally spank. You've read it same as I have.
The policy-makers are indeed the ones to be blamed.
