Before he died Wednesday evening, death row inmate Dale Leo Bishop apologized to his victim's family, thanked America and urged people to vote for Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama...Well now, there's an under-represented constituency.
A Lee County jury convicted Bishop in 2000 of participating in the murder of Marcus Gentry, who was beaten to death in December 1998 with a claw hammer.
In the interests of rooting for the underdog, I'd like to give this emerging political movement a small boost. Nothing big, just a bang-for-the-buck way to help spread the word...

This would be more effective if Bishop were, you know, the actual murderer. As you know, he isn't -- Bishop was an accessory to the crime, and the actual murderer who struck the fatal blows got life without parole. That's why Bishop's case has been such a big deal to opponents of the death penalty.
ReplyDeleteSee, context is everything.
Doesn't that graphic need a sickle to make it complete?
ReplyDeleteThis guy might be onto something: express your support for Obamarama and then immediately die. :)
