Well if it WAS the real cops, they were there to wreck the joint, not pay for the damages, and rob the homeowner of his Constitutional Rights, misuse the taxes he paid, and insult the man and his family by pointing guns in their faces. And if they were criminals, they....... oh just forget it.
Not when you come barging into my home. If you cannot announce and show a warrant, you are going to be in trouble with me.
I uphold the law, and the law states that breaking and entering is a crime. It states nothing about identity. Lawful entry by LE with a warrant is one thing, no warrant, no announce = trouble.
And I do have the means and the will to back it up. After all, I know where I'm going when I leave this place. I wonder if the thugs that would break in are going to have just as nice a reception when they leave here as well?
Of course law enforcement would rather you simply obey. Even if obedience gets you killed by fake cops. They especially want you to obey if the attackers are real cops. But they do want the passive attitude to be universal, so they can play their ninja warrior games at no risk.
Dude got lucky. They could just have easily shot him as they left. Rushing off to check on the sound of a door being kicked in while unarmed? That tends to lower your darwinian score.

ReplyDelete"Police" on the /back/ of the jackets? How is anyone looking at their /fronts/ going to know what's on the back?

People acting like thugs are thugs, regardless of the clownsuits they are wearing. Don't take chances.
ReplyDeleteRE: We should just obey.

Probably not — that's why they're thugs.

ReplyDeleteAsk Corey Maye how much support there is that.
Resistance is Futile ... we will add your individual distinctiveness to our collective.
