They don't pretend to be Woodward and Bernstein. The bloggers call themselves amateur journalists and describe their website, Badgewars.com, as "the electronic bathroom wall."While you're at it, you guys may want to see what we say about you in "The Only Ones" Files...
But they have piqued the interest of Boston police, who have launched an internal affairs investigation to find out who is behind the website.

I like this part...
ReplyDelete"It's ridiculous and outrageous, and it's very frustrating to watch very mean-spirited people write whatever they want behind a fictitious name."
Yeah, that whole "free speech" thing is pain in the a$$ isn't it?
What about mean spirited cops that do whatever they want behind a badge? Could that be a little frustrating to the people you're supposed to be protecting and serving? Its a good thing that Mass. has already stripped citizens of the right to keep and bear arms, otherwise people might tend to resist when we come to shut them up - and that could be (shudder) dangerous =(
A librarian with a sign that said "McCain = Bush" was told by police who were told by McCAIN'S Secret Service detail to get rid of the sign or leave the Denver McCain town meeting venue, supposedly opeen to the public. She questioned the ORDER and received a ticket for trespassing. Video on prisonplanet. Another protester in a pea-pod costume with photos of Bush and McCain as "two peas in a pod" was also ejected.
ReplyDeleteUh, the city cop responded to the librarian's question "HE'S telling you this (referring to a spokesman for the SS). Just following, uh, instructions.
How does it go again? Oh yes: "If you have nothing to hide, why would anyone object to being investigated?"
ReplyDeleteThe Boston Police used that one when they wanted to do warrantless inspections of people's homes to see whether their kids had guns. Any other offenses found would be "ignored," they're just concerned for everyone's safety, you know.
Talk about hiding, the only people I've seen in videos and pictures that hide their faces are cops and the crazy followers of Allah.
ReplyDeleteSo don't read the sites if you don't like not seeing the people's internet names. Which is a very, very simple and adult thing to do. Unlike going to bed at night wondering if men with full auto weapons that are afraid of their own shadows kicking in your door because they have yet another wrong address.
This big brother thing is way out of control.
