Police Chief Henry Reyes said Tony McElyea, a Strategic Counterdrug Team agent, decided to surprise a good friend and former police academy cadet at his home in the 1300 block of Virginia Boulevard...Only an "Only One" would be surprised by what happened next.
McElyea, his girlfriend, and the friend's wife snuck into the home at about 2:30 a.m.
Good grief.

I'm glad no intelligent beings were hurt.
ReplyDeleteNo charges files? WTF? If his friend wasn't an only one, would the case be the same? Or would you or I be sitting in jail, charged with assault on a Police officer and attempted murder of a police officer?
ReplyDeleteThis makes it clear with no-knocks at the wrong address. People will think its criminals because they are lawful citizens.
ReplyDeleteSo if an officer is shot at any wrong address during a no-knock. That's too bad, because its normal human actions. End of story.
If it was a pair of non- leos one would be in jail for b$e the other for attempted murder.
ReplyDeleteNope, no double standard here. Nothing to see here, move along.
Just another candidate working towards his Darwin Award.
