The judge replied, as judges there often do: "I find Officer Kanapsky's testimony to be credible. He is an unbiased witness."Really. Who would ever believe an "Only One" would be motivated by more money. For himself. To buy stuff with. And live better.
But the officer is not really unbiased. The more tickets he writes, the more overtime he gets. Last year, Kanapsky spent so much time in court he increased his pay by $21,000.
It defies belief.

Hey look, a budding only one.

ReplyDeleteSure beats fighting violent criminals in the 'hood. Might not live to spend that 50% bonus.
only until the 'hood finds out, then deals out street justice. i guess The Life pulls you in, no matter who you are.
ReplyDeleteThe judge lied. He didn't believe Kanapsky. But he can't get the money if he doesn't say he believes him.
