"I cried my eyelashes off," she said in the bowels of Invesco Field, moments after Obama accepted the nomination for president before an estimated 84,000 people.I think anyone who mentions "Oprah Winfrey" and "bowels" in the same article is just plain looking to cause trouble.
David, Is this the link you intended?
ReplyDeleteJust checkin' to see if everybody was awake...
ReplyDeleteYou believe that, right?
Yes ... of course. Interesting link by the way.
ReplyDeleteI meant your source link. I usually just read the "This Day in History ..." post without going to the link. I will have to remedy that.
ReplyDeleteOprah took a modest TV job and a way with people on camera and made it into a billion-dollar empire. Good for her.
ReplyDeleteShe has her own cult following. This is a cult leader endorsing a cult leader. It goes beyond logic. FEELINGS are no basis for a government. FEELINGS led to the deaths of how many million people in the 20th Century, the most deadly in history?
I don't support Chuck Baldwin or Ron Paul based on FEELINGS but on what they have said they will do and their obvious respect for our Constitution. Obama has a signed blank check from half of America.
So did the Bush boys.
Americans have so many kinds of entertainment available, I guess politics has to become more theatrical to compete.
