An Indianapolis police officer arrested in a drunken-driving case Sunday has been involved in two prior alcohol-related accidents in which he was not charged. His patrol car was involved in a third case in which charges are under consideration.

All of the accidents involving officer George Leon Benjamin, one dating to 2002, involved city vehicles.

...Benjamin refused to take a field sobriety test, the report said, but a breath test later determined his blood-alcohol level was 0.32, four times the level at which a driver in Indiana is considered intoxicated.

So he's been getting away with this for years--with the department's knowledge. That means this is the "Only One" judgment they knowingly employ to interact with the citizenry.

I wonder how many convictions, where much of the evidence was based on his testimony, will be reevaluated?
