We're the Only Ones Agreeing to Disagree Enough

Protesters here in Minneapolis have been targeted by a series of highly intimidating, sweeping police raids across the city, involving teams of 25-30 officers in riot gear, with semi-automatic weapons drawn, entering homes of those suspected of planning protests, handcuffing and forcing them to lay on the floor, while law enforcement officers searched the homes, seizing computers, journals, and political pamphlets.
To all those who say the "yelling 'fire' in a crowded theater" analogy doesn't work because it involves no prior restraint on free speech, we say "Guess again, tovarish!"

We're the "Только одни" and we will tolerate no dissidence. Especially from the useful idiots who actually believe commie bs...

UPDATE: There may have been warrants, and a lot more going on, too. My commentary was predicated on the article being accurate and truthful.

Yeah, I know...

  1. SUSPECTED of PLANNING protests? What next, suspected of CONSIDERING planning protests?

    Almost there...
Don't be wearing the same uniform as people who do this kind of thing, is all I have to say.

  2. At the NRA convention when the Secret Service required that Americans disarm of guns, knives, nail clippers and souvenir RUBBER BALLS to go in a ballroom the hear McCain speak, did McCain say "No, that's OK. If I were afraid of the people I shouldn't be in office"? No.
If WE know about these preemptive strikes on the First Amendment, the Republicans meeting in Minneapolis do too. An objections to this kind of treatment? Let me know, wouldja?
Every time they seize pamphlets, they feed the fire.
Is it OK because they're "leftist"? What about the inevitable counterprotestors supporting the Republicans? Do THEY have the right to be heard?
Really, whether it's the Soviet or the Nazi model, the nightstick feels the same on your head.
There's a time and a place for making your views known, and it has a "Delete" key for our overseers' convenience.

  3. Did you guys see the website detailing their plans?

We are still a Nation of Law and incitement to riot is against the law. Our Nation was founded on those principles. Our Founders were very concerned about mob rule, which is why we were founded as a Republic instead of a true Democracy.

Look at the lawlessness that took place. Care to have that in your neighborhood?

These people were going to attempt to shut down the city. This was not a protest.

Maybe I'm wrong on this, I haven't studied all the stuff on this, but what I have seen is pretty convincing.

  4. At the link below, I have read where "anarchists" are throwing bags of sand and concrete mix off of overpasses, targeting buses carrying RNC conventioneers to the meetings.

One of the struck buses carried Cub Scouts who were scheduled to perform Color Guard.

Only Ones were present to "escort" buses under the bridge, but no word of any arrests for attempted murder, which is exactly what throwing heavy objects off of bridges is.

  5. Those two-bit punks wouldn't know from anarchy if it bit them on their pimply behinds.

There is no such thing as the right to violate another's rights, and there never will be.

  6. Evil plots and evil acts by evil people notwithstanding, my comments were in regard to the linked article--which, if true, says no warrant was presented and no charges other than fire code violations were filed.

If there is a compelling need to use ninja raiders, I expect compelling legal justification and rigid adherance to the law.

I have no problem defending life and property against commie saboteurs. I do have a problem when commies do their sabotage under color of authority.

  7. Evil is evil, whether it is false "anarchists" (really "socialists") trying to hurt people in vehicles or Liberty Eradication Operatives (LEOs) kicking in doors to prevent protests. It really isn't... or shouldn't be.... that hard to understand.
