A Cook County sheriff's officer who parked his squad car in a disabled parking space was busted Wednesday by a teenage photographer who caught him in the act. What? Edicts you and I must obey apply to "Only Ones"?
I don't know what the big deal is though. It sounds like he is disabled.

Nice work by Mr. Hord, who is probably fortunate the deputy (unnamed...is he under 18 or something?) didn't catch him catching him in the act.

Moral disability doesn't usually count for those spaces. Otherwise there would need to be a LOT MORE of them.
ReplyDeleteI had a buddy take a few picture of a judge drinking from a glass bottle in the park for some political event. He did this because he was busted for it and had a heck of a fine to pay. So he took the photos to the media and demand to know why this judge in full view of the cop who ticketed him let it slide.
ReplyDeleteTurns out the cops planted some pot in his car and pulled him over later. Only problem was at his work there was a security camera and it showed the cops using a slide tool to unlock the door. The date and time were on the video. The police didn't get fired but he got a lot of money and it paid for his college.
All I can say if you want to take risk like this don't be shocked to find yourself set up by the people in power as pay back.
