I submit to you the premise that should Barack Obama be elected President of the United States along with a Democratic majority in Congress, the nation will witness civil disobedience on a scale that would make the Viet Nam era pale in comparison. You mean that doesn't just work if you're on the political left...?
Morehouse. Heh.
ReplyDeleteIII
It ain't gonna be civil, and it'll be way past disobediance. III.
ReplyDeleteUhm those protesters in vietnam didn't stop the war, and a few of them were shot in kent state. Plus I think most conservatives are too fat to run, and too cowardly to fight. After 8 years of 'ein volk ein rich ein fuhrer' they'll be happy to make thousands of excuses to justify total submission. Just look at california when they took away all the Ar-15s - nothing happened. Commenters on blogs can't even bring themselves to say they would fight against a home intruder if they had a badge! Maybe 3pct of .001% of the males in this country might stand up for themselves...but don't get too excited.
ReplyDeleteWe are about to be subjected to a very bad, anti-gun president no matter what wins the election. I will still write in my own name as an offer to find a peaceful solution. I am not delusional. Therefore I am mentally preparing myself for a proper response. "I aim to misbehave."
ReplyDeleteThis is a sporting event on a much larger scale, and what happens when "your team" wins?
ReplyDeleteRIOTS!
What happens when a "black man" gets beat?
RIOTS!
what are we in for?
RIOTS! Like we've never seen before.
Just sayin'
"Uhm those protesters in vietnam didn't stop the war, and a few of them were shot in kent state."
ReplyDeletethose were innocent civilians. students. they were just walking, in the wrong place, at the wrong time.
also, they didn't fire back.
