At least every other day here in Exile-land, the news reports a crime of violence involving a convicted felon with a firearm. They think they're so much smarter than us and they won't get caught AGAIN. If they're willing to theaten, maim and kill, the prospect of a longer prison term if they have a gun means less than nothing, they're such bad-asses. And our government wants us to walk around in that hatestorm naked and helpless. I refuse. I will always refuse. And if our anti-gun state legislator-just-elected-mayor insists, we may have a serious disagreement. Oh, new police chief too, Norwood, from Connecticut, where he left things in a mess. Used to work for the DEA. Niiice.
