The San Francisco Police Department will conduct an internal investigation into the actions of an off-duty officer whose gun went off Friday night at a small Halloween party in unincorporated Los Altos, authorities said.
The negligent firing of a gun can be a crime. But the incident was not deemed criminal and the officer was not arrested, said Sgt. Don Morrissey of the Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department.
Of course it wasn't--it's not like a police report would be filled out or an arrest would be made or criminal charges filed if you or I were drinking and urinating in yards and discharging firearms around children. In the Frisco area. If we were "
Only Ones."
