What is it with these guys...?

  2. We know that incidence of criminal activity among CCW holders is lower than that of the police. I wonder if it is also lower than that of the Mayors Against Guns?

  3. I don't know, but I'd love to have Coleman join them and be anywhere but here.

  4. What is it with them? Well, I'll take an educated guess. We know that any tyrant in order to be successfully tyrannical needs to disarm his subjects. Hence, this collection of mayoral mayhem is a dream come true for any tyrant.

We should each send a thank you note to Bloomy for giving us a pretty good list of local wannabe tyrants and shining the spotlight on high incidence of corruption among them.

Sad (but entirely expected) that the coverage by authorized journalists don't usually connect the dots.

  5. Well - I am no fan of King Larry ( as Hizzoner Langford is known by locals) but I do wonder about one element of his arrest. King Larry is a little over 6 feet tall and probably weighs 150, a bit frail, is not known to be armed or dangerous, and yet the Feebies arrested him and then applied shackles and cuffs. Now - if a skinny, unarmed mayor was that dangerous, then why do the Feebs refrain from doing anything remotely like that to suspected mooslim terror cell coordinators, and others of that ilk? They are gently escorted by one arm, private lawyers and ACLU lawyers in tow, and respectfully seated in the car... inquiring minds want to know.

  6. Not surprising at all. Not suprising at all.

Corruption exists everywhere, but never as strong as the stench of putrefaction you would smell coming from a big city liberal fascist-wannabe who thinks of himself as a king.

Besides, one who thinks he is a king: narcissistic personality disorder. This mayor needs to be institutionalized and placed on regular meds.
