Blood from a Turnip

More taxes are coming our way. You may not recognize them because, transparency and honesty be damned, many of them will come disguised as fees, assessments, and whatever euphemisms can be pulled from a government thesaurus to obscure the truth. [More]
Yeah, kick us while we're down and demand even more to enable your ceaseless tyranny and boundless incompetence.

Y'know, this could actually be a good thing in a "Squeeze, Baby, Squeeze" kind'a way...

  1. Follow the states that have the worst gun laws attacking the Constitutional right of its citizens and you will also see state governments that will cheat and lie to its citizens for more of their income.

  2. "Officials say they are required by law to balance budgets and that tax increases are necessary as state governments face sharply declining tax revenues,..."

So, quit spending money! Put the fricking shovel down and quit digging!

How many so-called "necessary governmental programs" did not exist just a few years ago? If somebody thinks a piece of art is worth saving so it may be viewed by coming generations let that person take steps to preserve it.

Balance the budget by throwing down the shovel, tamping sand into the existing rat holes, and sending the parasites out to root hog or die.

I will take care of mine and those whom I wish to take care of. I do not appreciate and will fight efforts to take my assets to give to anyone, especially to those who have, through incompetence, slothfulness, stupidity, greed, or a lack of foresight and planning wasted their own.

The government's attitude is as spoken by an IRS agent at an audit when told by a taxpayer, "You can't get blood out of a turnip."

"Maybe not, but we can sure as hell take your turnip."
