Why is Mike Vanderboegh even dealing with those AWRM clowns? I always assumed he operated on a higher level. I went through a lengthy militia movement phase, off and on, and never found a group that wasn't a cluster...coital event at best.
There are worthwhile people there. I didn't volunteer to get into this, I was pulled into and in retrospect it worked out. The points I was able to make were good, but we also sent an unspoken but clear message to the ATF that they do not operate in a vacuum. What happens in one place is noticed elsewhere. More ominously, I hear that the Fibbies have been told to "crack down" on militiafolk by their DOJ masters, and this is IN ADVANCE of the Obamanoids taking power. In any case, I believe it was worth engaging the AWRM folks on this topic, and the general tenor of the comments today are far more positive than yesterday, when I was a New World Order stooge.
I agree there are people at AWRM who are...not as laughable as others. I've been to a couple of the Northwest gatherings, though not for several years. Some of those folks are serious.
Which only leads me to the question, what are they doing still wasting time and effort on AWRM? But that's their choice.
Maybe I'll bop over and see what the screaming's about this time. But first I have these remaining three toenails to tear out with pliers.
C'mon Mike! Quit putting out fires and get back to writing Absolved already! I'd like to read the book before I need reading glasses! ;)
Seriously, nice job... It's good when someone can assist in defusing a potentially (very) bad situation. I haven't read all the details, but it seems you did some good...
In case you have not assembled your own collection or have not used Google to maximum effect I have assembled a mini six part tutorial why you DO NOT TALK TO INVESTIGATORS and given it a separate category for easy access.
While mostly directed toward traffic stops and drug raids the information is absolutely vital to the current and future status of RKBA-ians.
Note the Free Staters in New Hampshire are gravitating to "rehearsal" or encounter training sessions as well where individuals role play in how to behave in casual interactions with the authorities.
Read carefully the Findlaw Article on the Martha Stewart case where your exercise of the "right to remain silent" may be construed as affirmative acknowledgement of the investigors allegations.
Important lesson there for those who will hear it - the first line of defense is almost always verbal, with no weapons drawn. Study, prepare, train. I wonder how many militia members even have the contact information of a good attorney.
Oh, brother.

Waste of time and breath, are they.

Thanks for the reply.
