I'll accept that some guns, originally sold in US, have, or may find their way to Mexico by some way or other.
I do not accept the alleged 'fact' that the Mex narco cowboys would prefer expensive weapons sourced from the US when Mex police and military, as well as any number of corrupt south American countries (Hugo's arms and ammo) provide superior full auto firepower at far less cost.
This crackpot argument that Americans must surrender their rights to prevent murder in old Mex is another lie in the trail of lies laid by our own utopian command and control gun grabbing totalitarians.
I had an ex-Mexican Army soldier in Saltillo, Mexico offer to sell me a G-3 he stole when he left the military after we got to talking about guns.
Most of their internally used and mis-used firearms come from their Southern Border and the Mexican military and police forces themselves. Shifting the blame for their own corruption is a popular pass-time in Mexican governance. Hell, half their military and police are IN THE EMPLOY of the drug cartels.

"Walther G22 assault-style rifle"
ReplyDeleteThat is all the proof you need of ignorance.
Maybe if they stop the flow of drugs and "illegals", we can talk about stopping the flow of weapons.

Mexico needs guns. The Mexican government fears an armed population; that is all the evidence I need.
