The event allowed people who owned illegal guns to drop them off at six churches in exchange for a $200 debit card, no questions asked.

$200 apiece? You gotta be kidding me.

I don't suppose it occurs to these morons that they're creating all kinds of incentives here that work directly against their stated goals?

Two juveniles were arrested this afternoon in connection with a report of a student bringing a gun to Pinole Valley High School.

The school — where about 800 middle and high school students attend summer classes — went on lockdown around 8 a.m. this morning...
Anybody care to speculate on the results had The "Only Ones" been needed in seconds?

The story has a serious side, as Watson-Webb told the newspaper, “People all over Britain are sick and tired of feeling like prisoners in their own homes and seeing yobs get away with it.” He further insisted, “I’m not out to kill anyone or even hurt them. I just want to keep yobs off my land.”
It's not your land, subject. Don't you get it yet?
