An appealing development

Hey, I had an outpatient surgery yesterday and am doing the pain pill routine--this is probably it for this weekend. I'd prepared this column the day before I went in.

Please spread the word about this new column and please go easy on the emails or I'll be swamped when I'm back up and running.

    I fully understand that so-called "minor outpatient surgery" is only minor when it's somebody else who's being cut on.

  8. I was going to say not to let them cut off anything important, but then realized it will be too late by the time you read this. sigh... :)

    Anyway, take care of yourself. I see you couldn't leave well enough alone and posted rather a lot!
