Congress' Plan Would Let AG 'Ban Guns at Will'

A perfect storm is developing for Second Amendment opponents that could allow President-elect Barack Obama's choice for attorney general – Eric Holder – to "ban guns at will" despite the 2008 affirmation from the U.S. Supreme Court that U.S. citizens have a right to bear arms. [More]
WorldNetDaily's Bob Unruh sheds more light on why it's important to block Eric Holder, and gives a nod to one of my Gun Rights Examiner columns.

The article he cites by Alan Korwin is posted here.

  1. The Secretary of the Treasury used to have that power. Has that changed with many agencies being put under the umbrella of Geheimstadts Sekurheit?
    Act of war.

  2. Australia's gun laws are the MODEL for the U.S. That is what is coming. The California model will be temporary.

If you have not read Matt Bracken's books, Enemies Foreign and Domestic (a trilogy now), get them and read them.

A staged event such as Matt describes in the opening of Enemies Foreign and Domestic, is highly likely. Such an event would be the trigger for the transition from the California model to the Australian model.

Keep your basic load at hand, perform PMCS, and watch your six.

So let me introduce to you
the one thing to allay your fears:

Seriously, the Communists responsible for the Cambodian "killing fields" in which democracy supporters, suspected supporters, intellectuals, students, and people someone didn't like and informed on were mowed down like grass. The UN is ready to start the trials. Almost.
But then, we are not Cambodia.

  5. Wow, Defender--that's really good. I'm tempted to pick up the Stratocaster, and see how soon the police are called on me (probably pretty quickly, if they hear the lyrics).

Whoa, that's excellent! Keep writing political parody songs! Nobody expected the Berlin wall to come down, or the Singing Revolution. Maybe when the AWB passes, there will be a catchy song whose message amounts to: "This thing is so out of bounds that we're not even going to get angry. We're just going to laugh at it and you and ignore it until you resume the usual terms of the game".
