Hail to the Chief?

By the time some of you read this, Barack Hussein Obama will have been sworn in as 44th President of the United States. Untold millions will be ecstatic. The Era of Hope and Change has arrived. [More]
This is the first installment on a series I've got planned for this week's Gun Rights Examiner column: Obama's plans for guns.

  2. Oh, yeah: his new "Hail to the Chief" should be the "Imperial March" from "The Empire Strikes Back"!

  3. I know he's going to blow it big time both here and around the world.
Obama has nothing to back him but being a smooth talking lawyer. The people he's packed around him are hard core parasites. Look at the Clintons, pieces of shit that refuse to be flushed. They just keep floating back up to the top.

  4. Friend of mine says he could use a good speech writer. He had one, the news said, but rewrote everything in his own words. Admirable, but words are the currency of thought, it is said. If he's not good with them on his own, there;s another oiece of evidence that things are wronger than even we thought.
Of course, many of his voters don't speak English, even the ones that do.

  6. The despot's heel is at thy shore,
    Maryland!
His torch is at thy temple door,
    Maryland!
    Avenge the patriotic gore
That flecked the streets of Baltimore
And be the battle queen of yore,
    Maryland! My Maryland!

  7. "There are orcs. Many of them.
Plenty for the both of us!"
-- Gimli the Dwarf to Legolas the Elf, "Lord of the Rings"

Also from The Lord of the Rings:
Even the smallest person can change the course of history.

There may come a day when the courage of men fails, but it is not THIS day.

"How can one face such reckless evil?"
    "Ride out and meet it."

  8. In keeping with the Star Wars theme...

    Palpatine was a senator to.

"Thus Liberty dies with Thunderous Applause."

I pray and "HOPE" that those things aren't true but am a realist and believe that we will be seeing the 44th president - a.k.a. "THE KENYAN" doing things that will make Carter and Bush look tame.
