Yeah, I live next town over and we were all spun up when this cop looked to have been kidnapped.
ReplyDeleteAs more details come out it appears that he was in the hole at least $70,000 of confiscated drug money he'd "borrowed" from the safe and blown in Tunica, MS over some period of time. The $2500 was a last ditch effort to win it all back so he could replace what he'd swiped.
ah! another "victim of circumstances." let's "create" 20,000 more "social science" jobs in the "public sector!"
